Learning Khmer via Skype is the most convenient way to learn Khmer without leaving your home or office. This Private Khmer tutoring via Skype is available for anyone in the world. The courses are available for the beginners and advanced learners.
What students need to have:
- A computer/laptop with internet connection with Skype
- A webcam if your computer does not have one
- A convenient place to learn.
- A stable schedule (at least 1 time per week).
- At least one hour availability to practice a lesson.
- Handout of each lesson will be sent to you in advance.
Useful Tips
- Take one hour or two hours per week class
- Treat online class the same as the face to face courses
- Interact with the teacher. The more you interact, the more you can master the language in a very short time.
- Check all equipment, speakers, microphone, network & general computer performance.
- Create a quiet professional learning environment with no or minimal disruptions (tell your friends, relatives, husband, wife + children not to disrupt you for the duration of the lessons).
- Turn off phone and other online/offline distractions.
- Prepare yourself mentally and physically to focus on learning.
- Before the session starts, review previous work and the next lessons
- Handouts will be sent prior to each class
Learning Materials
All learning materials will be provided and sent to the student prior to the class.
Time
Online Khmer Class is available from 7am – 9pm 7 Days a week Phnom Penh Time +7 GMT and Canberra Time +10 GMT.
Fee & Payment
The fee is negotiable, and the payment can be made through Paypal or Bank transfer. Payment needs to be paid before the starting of each course.
